Not exactly an overnight phenomenon, Doug's success in listing and selling properties - both on and off the Keys - has been developed through a lifetime of customer service experience. Growing up in the small town of Port Austin, Michigan, where his family owned and operated a resort on Lake Huron, Doug’s parents ingrained in him the finer points of creating exceptional customer experiences from an early age.
After graduating with a degree in engineering from Michigan State University and earning his residential builder's license from the State of Michigan, Doug gained significant sales and marketing experience during his career with DTE Energy.
During one of his first visits to Sarasota more than 30 years ago, Doug fell in love with St. Armands and Lido Key, eventually settling in the area permanently in 2004. Doug combined his passion for service with his sales and marketing background to build a successful real estate business serving Sarasota, the surrounding Keys, and beyond.
